I help people understand their technology, so that they can use it effectively in their

work and life. I make tech fun.

Making Tech Fun: Using Your Smartphone Securely

Why treat your smartphone like a 1990’s phone – or a Maxwell Smart shoe phone? From security measures to emergency health information, from privacy settings to entertainment, and from convenience tools to photo sharing, your smartphone is at your service.  This lunchtime seminar will help you develop confidence and ease with using your smartphone with more security and privacy.

Demonstration will be on an iPhone and on an Android smartphone. Bring your phone and join the fun!

Over 16 years, Barbara has taught more than 2,000 young people and adults how to use computers effectively.

Success story: A teacher who retired about 10 years ago. Initially afraid to put her hand on the mouse, she said recently: “I can figure things out for myself on my computer.”  She is comfortable and confident with technology.

What makes Barry Basic different from other technology coaching or training companies?

  • Certified teacher, with 16 years of experience teaching technology skills to youth and adults.
  • Coaching (training) customized to your needs: non-judgmental, human-to-human, including those with learning disabilities.
  • Large class, small group, or one-on-one, Barry Basic can meet your needs.

Overcome your fears.  Increase your productivity. Have fun with technology!
