The 2015 North Kingstown Fireworks Display will be held on Thursday, July 2th at approximately 8:45 pm with a rain date of Friday July 3rd.

Parking at the Town Beach will be restricted to residents who have an active 2015 town beach pass the color of dark brown. Any resident without a pass or with an expired pass will be denied access. Passes can be obtained at the town hall during regular business hours. All non-residents will be denied vehicle access.

After 6pm access from Beach Street to Poplar Point will be restricted to residents and their guests with passes and to Wickford Shipyard boat owners and their guests.

After 6pm access to Main St will be restricted to residents and their guests with passes and to persons patronizing area businesses, churches, or boat facilities.

General Parking is restricted to authorized public parking lots and street spaces. Illegal parking violations will be enforced by North Kingstown Police Patrols, and offending vehicles may be towed away.

Post-Game Fireworks Spectacular

On Thursday, July 2, the PawSox will host the Scranton WB RailRiders in a special 6:15 pm start at McCoy. After the game, fans will be treated to a spectacular Fireworks Show. Come spend the night at McCoy and see Pawtucket play the RailRiders on Thursday, July 2 at 6:15 pm followed by fireworks. Presented by Dave's Marketplace and NBC 10

This year’s town fireworks will take place at sundown on Friday, July 3rd, kicking off a weekend-long party on Block Island. The fireworks are launched at the Town Beach Pavilion starting around 9 PM. The show can be seen from nearly any spot on the island, and is known for being an epic display. If you’re staying at Victorian Inns by the Sea, grab a spot of beach in front of the island’s premier bed and breakfast. There will surely be private fireworks shows all weekend long around the island, so you’ll get your fill.

Annual Fireworks Display

The city’s annual fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day will be held at the Oakland Beach seawall.

Fireworks will begin at dusk (approximately 9 p.m.) 

In case of inclement weather, residents should call 738-2000 for updates on delays or cancellations. The Department of Tourism, Culture and Development’s Facebook and Twitter accounts (Facebook.com/WarwickRI and Twitter.com/WarwickRI) will also have updates. 

Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced. 

Due to the volume of traffic expected at the seawall, residents are also advised to expect heavy delays on Oakland Beach Avenue and to seek alternate routes to the seawall area, such as Sea View Drive or Pequot Avenue. 

Residents are advised that the fireworks can also be viewed from City Park, which offers fantastic, unobstructed views of the display along the shoreline.

The Fourth of July Parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. on July 4th and will step-off at the corner of Chestnut Street and Hope Street (Rt. 114). The parade ends on High Street, between State Street and Bradford Street. 

Hope Street (Rt. 114) will be closed off beginning at 8:00 a.m., including Poppasquash Road. Beginning at 7:00 a.m., Chestnut Street, Naomi Street and Sherry Avenue will be close to traffic. A parking ban along the parade route goes into effect the night before the parade.

A Block Island Tradition-Come celebrate your Fourth of July with the annual Block Island Fourth of July Parade! The event will start promptly at 11am in New Harbor, and will make its way to the end location in Old Harbor. Find a spot along the parade route, and enjoy the show as floats, bands, clowns, and other marchers make their way across the island.

The BankRI Independence Day Celebration kicks off on July 4th at India Point Park at 7:30pm with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Pops conducted by Francisco Noya, A venerable figure in the Boston and New England music scene, Noya served as music director of the Longwood Symphony Orchestra in Boston for 12 sea­sons and is a prominent mem­ber of the faculty at Berklee College of Mu­sic in Boston. As Resi­dent Conductor of the Rhode Island Philhar­monic Orchestra, he conducts Pops and Educa­tion concerts and the Summer Pops Se­ries.  The celebration comes to an awe-inspiring end at 9:15pm when the sky lights up with a spectacular fireworks display set to music that can be heard in the park and on the radio.

Watch the city's 4th of July fireworks from the best seat in town - the USS Massachusetts. Tickets are $5.00 per person. There is no smoking, drugs or weapons of any kind allowed Battleship Cove. For security reasons, there will be no coolers or book bags allowed. Purses and diaper bags are subject to search prior to entry. Fireworks are weather dependent. In the event of a cancellation, the city will determine whether to reschedule. Battleship Cove is not responsible for rescheduling or cancellations. No refunds will be issued. Tickets are available in advance at the Battleship Cove Visitor Center and Museum Store or online by clicking the banner.
