40th Annual Rhode Island Open Opening Reception

Join us Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 6 to 7:30 pm for the opening reception and awards presentation of the 40th Annual Rhode Island Open at the Warwick Center for the Arts, 3259 Post Road, Warwick.

The Rhode Island Open is one of the state’s longest-running open calls for artists, open to anyone 18 or older living or working in Rhode Island. This year’s exhibition was juried by Richard Whitten, Professor of Painting at Rhode Island College, who will present the cash awards in person. The exhibit runs October 10 through November 21, open Wednesday–Saturday, 12–5 pm. Free and open to the public.
