Come Celebrate, 
Celebrate the 41st year of the Double Ender Celebration’s Independence Day with a lively parade on Saturday, July 4th and a stunning fireworks display on Wednesday, July 1st starting at 9pm. Partnering with Ocean State Pyrotechnics, we will light up the sky with a breathtaking display set off from a barge in the Block Island Sound across from Town Beach Pavilion, best seen from any location on the island at dusk.
Our parade theme for this year Celebrate 250 years of America and we invite everyone to join the festivities, either by participating in the parade or lining up along the route to watch the show. This year’s 4th celebrations are especially meaningful because of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We are proud to announce the inclusion of Catnip Junkies, ERB- Extraordinary Rendition Band, Taunton City Band, and Taggart Pipe and Drums to this year’s musical acts. Local businesses, organizations, families, or individuals are welcome to sign up early and be a part of our celebration by filling out our participant form. Arrive at The Oar with your float on July 4th at 9 a.m. to secure your spot in the lineup.
