The Bristol Veterans Council will hold its Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade May 25, 2026 beginning at 10 am at the North Burial Ground.
After a remembrance ceremony and speaking presentation to honor those who lost their lives in the line of duty, a parade of military representatives, police and fire, town and state officials, and others will march south on Hope Street to the Burnside building.
Memorial Day activities will continue with a wreath laying ceremony in the War Garden adjacent to the Burnside building.
Refreshments will be available at the Bristol Train of Artillery on State Street following the wreath laying.
In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held at the VFW Post 237, 850 Hope Street.
