Warwick Symphony Orchestra (WSO) serves audiences and musicians by bringing classical and orchestral pops performances to communities across Rhode Island. As a regional volunteer symphony, the WSO seeks to deliver high-quality live music and affordable performances to diverse communities. WSO ensures accessibility and appeals to a wide-ranging audience of varied backgrounds through programming that seamlessly shifts between classical and orchestral pops.
WSO opens its 2025-2026 Season (No. 59) with a program of music inspired by Classical and Christmas selections, presented Sunday – December 14, 2025 (3pm) at St. Bernard Church: 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown.
The program will include a variety of full symphony selections:
Concert Suite from The Polar Express by Alan Silvestri & Glen Brubaker
Symphony No. 5 – Allegro by Ludwig van Beethoven
Colas Breugnon – Overture by Dimitry Kabalevsky
T ‘was the Night Before Christmas – A setting of the Clement Moore poem for narrator and orchestra by Bill Holcombe. Narrated by special guest, Kelly Bates

The WSO aims to provide an outlet for continued musical development for all our participants, serve as an artistic asset within our community, develop and diversify our audiences through a variety of programs and collaborative partnerships with both musical and non-musical organizations including charities, non-profits, and service agencies. Our membership believes that music brings people together, and a concert can be more than just a concert.
This activity is made possible in part by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, through an appropriation by the Rhode Island General Assembly and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
