A lifelong Warwick resident, Alexander Claros has been part of the Something Fishy, Inc. team since graduating from the University of Rhode Island in 2016. Starting as a field technician, he steadily advanced to service coordinator and now serves as Director of Operations, where he leads his team with a focus on excellence and growth. His passion for aquariums shines through in every aspect of his work.

Beyond his role at Something Fishy, Alex is deeply committed to strengthening Warwick’s small business community. He actively champions lean business practices, sustainable growth strategies, and initiatives that make Warwick an attractive place for new entrepreneurs. His dedication reflects his vision of a thriving, collaborative local economy.

Alex earned his Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from URI, where he also studied abroad at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences. He and his wife are raising their young son in Warwick, and when he’s not working, Alexander can often be found outdoors—bass fishing, golfing, scuba diving, or making music as the lead singer and guitarist of the band Northeast Traffic.
