Alexander is a native Rhode Islander from Warwick and has worked for Something Fishy Inc. since graduating URI in 2016. He has worked his way up from field technician to service coordinator and now leads his team as director of operations. His passion for aquariums, especially corals, exudes when he speaks of them.  Alex is committed to the growth and facilitation of small businesses in Warwick. His focus is on strengthening small businesses through lean practices, making Warwick an attractive prospect for new entrepreneurs, and encouraging and coaching sustainable business growth.

Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island where he had the opportunity to study abroad at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences. He currently lives in Warwick with his wife, their pit bull mix and two aquariums. In his spare time, he is the lead singer and guitarist for Northeast Traffic, enjoys bass fishing, scuba diving and generally anything that involves being outdoors.
