Colbie Taylor

Ambassador

I’m a mom and wife first, to a bright, curious 8-year-old daughter and a kind-hearted 11
year-old son who is on the autism spectrum. That part of my journey has profoundly
shaped how I see the world and how I show up for others, both personally and
professionally.
Working in group health insurance might seem like it’s all numbers and policies, but for
me, it’s always been about people. I’ve been on the other side of the table, trying to make
sense of coverage, asking the tough questions, and worrying about what’s best for my
family. That experience is why I lead with empathy and always listen first.
It’s easy to fall into the mindset that health insurance is just transactional, something we
check off during renewals. But it’s not, and it shouldn’t be. It’s about strategic planning
throughout the year: anticipating needs, preparing for the unexpected, and ensuring
that coverage truly supports people when it matters most.
I believe in real, meaningful relationships, the kind where people feel seen, not just
served. I strive to understand each person who they are and what they may be carrying.
Whether you’re an employer looking out for your team or a parent doing their best for
their child, I’m here to walk beside you, not just to offer guidance, but to be someone
you can count on.
Because behind every benefit decision is a story, a need, a hope, and I never forget that.
