Lauren joined the Central Rhode Island Chamber in 1995 in a membership sales capacity quickly advancing into the role of Vice President.  In 2001 Lauren took the helm of one of the largest Chambers of Commerce in Rhode Island and has since carried the torch to be the guiding light for her members throughout Rhode Island.

Lauren has gained the respect and admiration of her colleagues throughout the State as well as National organizations which she has both served and been part of.   She has become a tremendous liaison between for-profit, non-profit and governmental authorities alike.  She has served on countless boards such as the Warwick Board of Canvassers, ESGR RI Employer Outreach Coordinator, Warwick Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee, RI Small Business Development Advisory Board, New England Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. She has received advanced training through FEMA’s Emergency Management Institute and “Imagine Workforce Inclusion” for hiring RI workers with disabilities.  In 2003 Lauren was honored with RISBA District Director’s Award at the Salute to Small Business.  She achieved the IOM recognition from the US Chamber of Commerce for advanced training in a broad array of business and Chamber of Commerce specific disciplines.  She serves on the Innovation Sub-Committee, and is a member of the Local Area Advisory Committee for the Governor’s Workforce Board.

Lauren is married to her husband Phil, and between them, they have three very successful children Alicia, Nick and Sean, their spouses, and eight grandchildren.  They enjoy the local waterways, being outdoors, and spending time with their family.
